If you have a business account with Paull’s, why not give your van some additional space and adaptability by hiring a van with a roof rack? Available for long-term or short-term hire, these extras give you the flexibility you need to carry goods in a safe & secure manner.

We can guarantee our roof racks are professionally fitted to the guidelines set out by the roof rack manufacturer, ensuring complete safety for you and your business. Once you have your vehicle, you are able to use your own straps to place whatever you need onto the roof rack. The roof racks at Paull’s are fitted to our Short Wheelbase Vans (SWB vans).

Tow Bar Hire Leicester

Paull’s business account customers can also hire vehicles with tow bars. Our tow bars are fitted onto a range of our Short Wheelbase vans (SWB vans) and 4×4 Pickups. These are great options for business clients looking to attach a trailer. All Tow bars are professionally fitted and are either 7 or 13 pin connection (please check what is available at the time of ordering)

Please note, vehicles with roof racks and tow bars can only be hired from ourselves to a client using their own business vehicle fleet insurance cover.

What Can I Tow?+

The rules on what you can tow depend on when you passed your driving test:

On or after 1st January 1997

  • you can drive a car or van with a maximum authorised mass (MAM) of 3,500kg, towing a trailer with a MAM of no more than 750kg
  • you can tow a trailer of more than 750kg, as long as the total MAM of your car/van and trailer does not exceed 3,500kg

Before 1st January 1997

  • you can drive a car or van with a trailer up to a combined MAM (vehicle and trailer) of 8,250kg
